Reliable backup power

Saft's nickel and lithium-ion batteries are reliable and instant sources of backup power in case of emergency. Our batteries are used around the world when a primary source of power suddenly goes down. Highly reliable, they can cope with the huge demands placed on them to ensure those downstream get the power they expect and need until primary power re-engages.

With high discharge and resistance to extreme temperatures, our solutions will instantly crank up an emergency generator engine or switch on turbines, pumps or other equipment, keeping steam, gas and hydro turbines, renewable plants, switchgears, balance of plant UPS, data-acquisition systems and diesel generators working.
