March 2021 marks the first anniversary of the launch of Energizing IoT, Saft’s blog that brings you all the news, content and resources to successfully energize your IoT project!
It’s been an incredible journey so far, one that has allowed us to immerse ourselves in the needs of our clients to create useful content, to take a deep dive into the wonders of IoT and battery technology, and to create meaningful partnerships. We have interviewed inspiring engineers , discussed the importance of choosing the right battery technology and optimizing a device’s power consumption to extend its lifetime and improve its ROI. We have offered you advice and shared our expertise on how to successfully power your IoT project, lithium battery transportation and how to read and interpret a battery's datasheet.
With the same vision of offering guidance at the earliest stage of your project, we have developed a free online tool, the Smart Battery Selector to help you choose the best battery for your IoT device. A newsletter Energizing IoT is also sent twice a month compiling the hottest articles and IoT trends.
The traction we have received on some of the posts we shared showed us that batteries are not just seen as a mere commodity: they are an integral part of the success of an IoT project that should not be overlooked. It also shows that battery technology can be complex to understand and that IoT designers and developers need a simple, educational support to comprehend the subject —a problem-solving tool. We’ll try to meet your expectations and keep on delivering useful content!
