The Area Sales Manager defines and implements a commercial strategy resulting in growth of commercial aviation sales with select OEM accounts and Integrators.
Specifically, the role is that of a Key Account Manager in charge of growing and nurturing the relationship with customers in order to retain and grow existing business and win new business. Responsible for structuring and executing current programs and makes recommendations for growth. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to advance legacy business opportunities and is expected to develop an external network in order to leverage connections for new business opportunities. He/she is expected to utilize market based data and trends to identify new business opportunities with existing accounts.
Experience/Requirements: Five (5) years B2B sales experience, preferably for the aviation aftermarket industry, preferably in North America and strong cultural awareness, strong project management skills and professional behavior or equivalent combination of experience. Sales of technical products, Aeronautical knowledge preferred, experience with large CT OEM is a plus.
Must be ready to travel 25%-50% of the time.
The Aviation Product Line Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the Aviation product/systems/services portfolio in order to maintain market share and competitive edge, as well as to generate growth and innovation.
The Aviation Product Line Marketing Manager is also the internal Subject Matter Expert in charge of developing a deep understanding of the Aviation market, to support product line management and decision making. This requires to conduct regular analysis (market, competition, customer needs and trends).
Also initiates and drives the Aviation communication plan with the Communication Function, advises Mobility Management, and supports sales forces on their specific needs.
This role also works closely with sales, application engineering, engineering, project management, marketing and strategy functions.

Saft America is looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineer. In this position, you will contribute to the design and development of the next generation of lithium-ion batteries for Defense, Space, and Racing applications. Saft is HQ’ed in France, with 4,300 employees in 18 countries. Our manufacturing site in Cockeysville houses the research and development of Saft America’s Space and Defense Divisions.
Brief Job Description:
Perform all necessary shipping functions to include packaging, labeling, generating documents and scheduling of freight carriers. Position involves shipping of various chemicals and batteries (primarily Lithium-Ion batteries). Hazardous material shipping certifications are required in order to satisfy this position. Good computer skills are a must. Individual should have good multi-tasking skills, be team oriented and be able to work well under pressure. Maintaining packaging inventories and requisitioning material needs for the department is also required. This position reports directly to the Materials Manager. Standard hours for this position are Monday – Friday from 7:30 – 4:30.

This division’s products are powering the GOES-R series of weather satellites, providing load leveling for directed energy weapons at 1 kV and 400A RMS and powering the most advanced hybrid vehicles on the planet in Formula 1 racing.
This is a multi-discipline position that will involve electrical design, mechanical design, software, and process creation. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent working hands-on conducting product tests, supporting test equipment, cable builds and performing setup validations.

Saft America is looking for a Cell Design Engineer. In this position, you will contribute to the design of next generation lithium-ion batteries.
The Senior Mechanical/Manufacturing Process engineer’s primary responsibility is providing mechanical engineering support for lithium ion cell manufacturing in safety, quality and equipment issues. Secondary responsibility is supporting prototype & pilot trials in sub-assembly which may include designing and qualifying new equipment & tooling. Both responsibilities involve creating PS/MOI, writing & executing RFQs/CERs for new equipment, and being the site’s SME on precision control of the C-to-Q parameters. Daily interaction is expected with the maintenance team, other engineers, and operation members. This position reports to Cell Process Engineering Manager.
